What is the most important muscle in your legs for jumping and vertical leap?

I want to increase my vertical leap and I wanted to know what to focus on strenghening and stretching for flexability.

  1. Yes certainly quadriceps but your hamstrings are also a huge part of it

  2. Quads and calves!!! Hands down!! Training of these two muscles is absolutely necessary for the vertical jump!
